GoVision received CEDIA "Best Of Show" awards for its new LED video solution GoVision TV. The product was recognized by NewBay Media’s TWICE magazine as one of the outstanding products exhibited at the show, the company said.
“We had a tremendous reception for GoVision TV throughout the show, reflecting the truly unique nature of the product, and we’re really proud to receive the ‘Best of Show’ award,” - said Kevin Faciane, executive vice president of Argyle, TX-based GoVision.
GoVision TV is marketed as a game-changing new LED video technology for the residential and commercial hospitality markets. It is claimed to offer homes and businesses the spectacular, larger-than-life LED video screen experience that until now has been reserved for massive concert arenas and sports stadiums. Designed for outdoor viewing, this giant screen is completely weatherproof (IP 65-rated), viewable in full sunlight (greater than 5,500 nits), contains integrated speakers and multiple inputs and is compatible with most existing home and commercial audio/visual systems, the company said.
GoVision TV can be mounted to most existing structures and walls, or configured as a stand-alone viewing system using an available design kit featuring attractive wood, stone and other structures. With sizes starting at roughly 1.8m high by 3m wide (140 inch), the screen can be scaled to much larger sizes and in various viewing aspect ratios.
“This product is ideal for upscale homes as well as country clubs, sports bars with large patios, golf courses and other outdoor entertainment venues,” - continued Faciane. “And because we are one of the nation’s leading outdoor LED screen providers, we have the expertise to design and install an LED screen that perfectly fits the available space and will provide the highest-quality viewing experience possible.”
Faciane explained that GoVision TV can be viewed in full sunlight without any deterioration in picture quality, very similar to the outdoor video boards seen in professional sports stadiums.
