The company announced that it had been commissioned to design and manufacture a custom-made LED screen for a new facility of the Carrousel du Louvre underground shopping mall, which was recently opened in Paris.
The screen measures 4m wide by 9m high and is composed of ALSi Series Black LED panels with 4mm pixel pitch. Installed inside the window arch at the main entrance, the display features a unique shape with the curved upper part that makes it blend with the architecture of the historic building. Commenting on the project Sébastien Clément, the CEO of ARCH Technology Group, said: “The concept needed months of work by our engineers. Manufactured entirely in the ANDORRA ARCH factory, this reference represents a quality guarantee and demonstrates the level of confidence that customers, architects, designers, and prescribers can put in ARCH products”.
The magnificent facade that the display is integrated within is designed by the Wilmotte & Associés agency and defines the new signature and image of the Carrousel du Louvre. This renovated space is presented as a space directly attached to the Louvre Museum and serves as a "preamble" of the collections presented.
According to ARCH, the new facility of Carrousel du Louvre was inaugurated on the 8th of November in the presence of the mayor of Paris, 1st arrondissement, Jean-François Legaret, and Jean-Michel Wilmotte, project designer.
