Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in Buffalo, New York, has its new expansion fitted out with two new LED displays and an audio system. The project has been delivered in conjunction with Indirap, a professional video production team, to bring interactive content to the screens.
According to a press release, the displays feature 4mm pixel pitch and are installed within the casino’s new addition, The WD Bar & Grille. The display on the first floor measures 4.8m high by 2.8m wide and is located between two staircases heading up to the casino’s second level. The display on the second floor is at the top of the stairs and measures 5.4m high by 3.2m wide.
In addition to this, the company has also provided a custom audio system to create a full audio-visual experience for the casino’s guests. A total of four loudspeakers, two on both sides of the displays, are installed within the project, Daktronics said.
According to the press release, the displays will feature interactive content, which is triggered by motion sensors. The content is designed by Indirap and relates to the Seneca Nation heritage, culture, and traditions. Other interactive pieces feature buffalo walking toward the screen and stopping to pose for pictures as well as Buffalo City Hall being made out of playing cards, the company said.
“The most successful projects are those where the designer, construction manager, subcontractors, and specialty vendors work collaboratively as a team,” – said Rob Chamberlain, Sr. VP of Design & Construction, Seneca Resorts & Casinos. “Daktronics was a key partner and team member on this expansion. They designed a first-rate quality product, worked seamlessly with the design and construction team to integrate the screens into the project, and met every scheduled date promised. It was a pleasure working with them.”
