The company will provide digital assets for the Circa development project, which is currently under construction in Los Angeles. The project, which includes the development of two high-rise residential towers, implies integration of various SNA digital assets into their building façades.
In particular, the company will manufacture and supply three large-format LED video displays, a series of color-changing architectural lighting features that will run vertically along each tower, and metal architectural fins that will help integrate the displays with the buildings’ exteriors.
According to SNA, the project will reportedly include nearly 1700 square meters of digital display technology.
Fabrication and installation of all secondary steel structural components along with the installation and integration of the electronics for all digital assets will be held in partnership with YESCO, the press release said.
“This is really a first-of-its-kind digital display installation on the west coast,” – said Jason Helton, executive vice president of SNA. “It’s an interesting mix of radii, seamlessly integrated into the design of this incredible project, and the end result will be a Times Square-like experience for Los Angeles.”
