Giant movable LED backdrop in Johnny Hallyday tour

is stated to provide the largest moving rental LED display ever created to support Johnny Hallyday the Rester Vivant tour. The project was delivered together with Skynight, which is the company’s rental distributor in France.

Johnny Hallyday is a rock and roll star of Francophone region, often referred to as French Elvis. The singer is well-known for his impressive voice and great performance. Having started at the Nimes Festival in July, the Rester Vivant tour is planned to last up to early March 2016 visiting main cities in France, Belgium and Switzerland.

Artixium LED backdrop for Johnny Hallyday's the Rester Vivant tourThe stage design features six custom-made ceiling displays moving synchronously with the music and constituting totally of over 600sqm. The screens feature 6mm pixel pitch and are composed of Xenon LED modules that are the company’s pro touring Indoor/Outdoor rental product.

Incorporated into the scenic design are also two flat screens on both sides of the stage and a curved LED wall with a resolution of 4096 x 756 pixels used as a backstage display.

Commenting on the project, Ana Karina Lázaro, regional sales manager for Artixium, said: “It took six months, over 20 people, over 600sqm of Xenon, and a lot of enthusiasm, resulting in an amazing collaboration and a great tour that is already on the road since the beginning of October”.
